BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

The Center for Climate Integrity is a nonprofit organization that empowers communities with the knowledge and tools they need to hold oil and gas corporations accountable for decades of lying about climate change and for the damage they’ve caused.

A representative from Center for Climate Integrity will provide a brief presentation regarding the hard costs Culver City is facing to protect residents from climate-driven events and why nearly one third of Americans are now represented by climate lawsuits.

Committee can discuss and provide guidance to staff.
