Fulwood (11/21/07) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council: (1) approve a professional services agreement with Sidewalk Strategies a Division of Tramutola LLC to provide public education advisory services related to the proposed Utility Users Tax ballot measure in an amount not to exceed $23 000; (2) approve an appropriation in the amount of $20 000 from unappropriated reserves to implement the public education program (this budget amendment requires a 4/5th vote of the City Council); and (3) direct staff to work with the Budget and Finance Subcommittee to develop and implement a public education and information plan.
