RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Equity and Human Relations Advisory Committee (EHRAC) review and discuss the Equity and Human Relations Advisory Committee Bylaws.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
On January 27, 2020, City Council established the Equity and Human Relations Advisory Committee and adopted a resolution approving its bylaws to provide guidance on the EHRAC’s purpose and objectives. On July 13, 2020 City Council approved amendments to the bylaws. The substantive changes included updating the terms for the members at large and the youth and labor representative seats.
Staff will provide an overview of the bylaws and provide any needed clarifications on the role and responsibilities of the EHRAC.
