Mooney) (03/12/15) Chief Financial Officer Approval: N/A City Manager Approval: N/A City Attorney Approval: N/A RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Parks Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) Commission provide comments to the City Council on the proposed Fiscal Year 2015/16 PRCS Department Budget and Work Plans. BACKGROUND: Beginning in Fiscal Year 2014/2015 the City Council instituted an enhanced budget process. This process provides additional opportunities for the public to provide input into the budget document. Further the City Council now specifically invites members of the City s Commissions Committees and Boards to provide comments during the City s Annual Budget Process. At the March 3 2015 PRCS Commission meeting the Commission acknowledged the invitation from the City Council to provide comments during the City s Fiscal Year 2015/2016 Budget Process. The discussion and comment on the proposed Fiscal Year 2015/16 PRCS Department Budget and Work Plans was continued to this Special Meeting of the PRCS Commission. DISCUSSION: Since the March 3 2015 meeting some Commission Members have submitted written comments on the proposed Fiscal Year 2015/16 PRCS Department Budget and Work Plans to staff via email.
