RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Equity and Human Relations Advisory Committee (EHRAC) receive a verbal report from the Public Events Ad Hoc Subcommittee; and (1) discuss the report from the Public Events Ad Hoc Subcommittee; and (2) If so desired, approve of the report's recommendations; and (3) determine next steps as deemed appropriate.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The Public Events Ad Hoc Subcommittee is to discuss the proposed events outlined in their report for fiscal year 2023-2024 and invite input for additional recommendations from members. The proposed events remaining for the FY 2023-2024 will ultimately go to City Council as part of the EHRAC's 2023-2024 bi-annual report.
At the September 26, 2023, regular meeting, there was consensus among the EHRAC members to hear a report from the Public Events Ad Hoc Subcommittee.
