WHEREAS on November 7 2006 the voters of the State of California passed Proposition 1B which authorized the State of California to issue $19.9 billion general obligation bonds to fund state and local transportation improvements and related projects; and WHEREAS the City of Culver City's remaining share from this funding source is $606 427_82 to improve and maintain local streets and roads in the City; and WHEREAS the State Department of Finance requires cities to submit a plan of City Council approved projects to be funded by this source.
