RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council adopt an ordinance amending Culver City Municipal Code Section 15.02.1160 by adding a reference to the California Green Building Code Section 5.106.4.1.2.4.
BACKGROUND
On June 8, 2026, the City Council, by a unanimous vote (5-0), introduced an ordinance amending Culver City Municipal Code Section 15.02.1160 that adds a reference to the California Green Building Code Section 5.106.4.1.2.4. The amendment is a continuation of the adoption of the 2025 California Building Standards Code and responds to a request from the California Building Standards Commission.
DISCUSSION
The proposed ordinance is now being submitted to the City Council for adoption. The amendment is administrative, adding a reference code and a section. There are no technical code changes and no new impacts on housing development.
FISCAL ANALYSIS
There is no fiscal impact associated with the adoption of this amendment.
