RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that the Finance Advisory Committee (FAC): (1) receive the final report from the Government Efficiency Ad Hoc Subcommittee for Fiscal Year 2025-2026; (2) dissolve the Government Efficiency Ad Hoc Subcommittee for Fiscal Year 2025-2026; (3) form a new Government Efficiency Ad Hoc Subcommittee for Fiscal Year 2026-2027, if desired; and (4) appoint members to the 2027 Government Efficiency Ad Hoc Subcommittee.


BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

The Government Efficiency Ad Hoc Subcommittee was established to research, implement, and continue a City Innovation Award Program to encourage employees and/or departments to contribute towards increased efficiency, improved quality of life for Culver City residents, reduced costs and/or generated revenue, or demonstrate distinguished performance based on department goals/outcome measures.

The Government Efficiency Ad Hoc Subcommittee is currently comprised of Finance Advisory Committee Members Austin, Di Vincente, and Thakur.
