BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION: In 2004 the City Council amended Chapter 5.02 of the Culver City Municipal Code to place responsibility for maintenance of the connecting structure (wye) to a City sewer main solely upon the City instead of the property owner. As a result of this revision the City has utilized sewer contractors to repair the connecting structure to the City sewer main.
