A four fifths (4/5) vote is required for this budget amendment. BACKGROUND: From January 2006 to September 2006 the Traffic Section of the Operations Bureau implemented on a trial basis a second Commercial Enforcement Officer. The purpose of implementing this second Commercial Enforcement Officer was to effectively evaluate and enforce the ever increasing number of commercial vehicles traveling within the city.
