RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that the Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) Commission receive and file the report regarding the Culver City Summer Camp Programming and Registration.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

At the July 2, 2024, regular meeting, the PRCS Commission agendized a report from staff highlighting the 2024 summer camp programming.  At that meeting, Commissioners mentioned concern about the waitlist for Culver City Summer Camps and requested more information about the registration process and recommendations on changes that could be made to that process.  The report (Attachment 1) will be presented by Recreation and Community Services Coordinator Melanie Morales.  In preparation for the report, staff reached out to nearby cities with questions about their summer camps and registration process (Attachment 2).

FISCAL ANALYSIS
