Fulwood (04/05/06) RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends the City Council adopt a Resolution renewing the General Services Agreement with the County of Los Angeles for the Period of July 1 2006 through June 30 2011. BACKGROUND The City of Culver City has entered into a General Services Agreement with the County of Los Angeles for many years. A search of City Council minutes indicated the City Council authorized the Agreement on May 13 1996 and again on May 14 2001. The current agreement approved in 2001 will expire on June 30 2006. DISCUSSION Approval of the General Services Agreement allows the City to access services provided by the County of Los Angeles on an as needed basis. Examples of the various services offered by the County under this agreement include (but are not necessarily prosecution of city ordinances direct assessment collections and a variety of public works items.
