BACKGROUND: The Friends of the Culver City Dog Park (Friends) a private non profit 501(c)(3) organization was founded in August 2001. In April 2005 the Friends entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the City of Culver City to allow the building of a Dog Park within Culver City Park.
