Fulwood (03/20/07) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council approve an amendment to the professional service agreements with Max Paetzold and Barry Kurtz to provide support to the Traffic Engineering section of the Engineering Division in its review of regional and local development projects as follows: 1) increase the not to exceed amount by $28 000; 2) increase the current rate of $75 per hour to $90 per hour effective July 1 2007; and 3) extend the term of the agreement to September 30 2007. BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION: On August 28 2006 the City Council approved awarding contracts with Max Paetzold and Barry Kurtz in an aggregate not to exceed amount of $75 000 to provide traffic engineering support to development and regional transportation projects.
