Fulwood (05/07/08) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council receive an overview presentation on the Fiscal Years 2008 09 & 2009 10 Proposed Budget from the Public Works Department including Sewer and Refuse operations as well as the Capital Improvement Plan. DISCUSSION: This first budget study session of the Fiscal Years 2008 09 and 2009 10 Proposed Budget occurred on May 5th. The Chief Financial Officer gave a presentation to City Council which included a discussion of current economic conditions and provided financial highlights for the City s major funds. There were also presentations given for the City Manager s Office the City Clerk s Office and Risk Management. On May 12 2008 the City Council received presentations from the Police Department and the Fire Department. This evening the Public Works Department will provide presentations of their budget proposals.
