RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommend the Cultural Affairs Commission (CAC) (1) receive updates on the FY 2025-2026 Cultural Affairs work plan and an FY 2026-2027 Cultural Affairs work plan priorities and approved budget; and, (2) provide feedback as appropriate.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
At its meeting on June 8, 2026, the City Council adopted the budget and work plan priorities for FY 2026-2027. Cultural Affairs full-time personnel and some administrative expenses are funded by the City’s General Fund. The Cultural Trust Fund (Fund 413) pays for all Capital Projects that are managed by Cultural Affairs Division as part of the City Manager’s office.
Staff will provide a status update via PowerPoint on FY 2025-2026 Cultural Affairs work plan followed by an overview of the FY 2026-2027 Cultural Affairs work plan priorities and its adopted budget.

1. Receive and file a report from staff on the Cultural Affairs work plan updates and priorities for FY 2025-2026 and FY 2026-2027; and,
2. Provide any comments or feedback as appropriate.
