BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION: This will be the 33rd annual re authorization of funding for programs and services for the elderly under the Older Americans Act. The Culver City Senior Nutrition Program receives these grant funds through the Los Angeles County Department of Community and Senior Services Area Agency on Aging (AAA). This grant provides limited funding to 22 non profit organizations and municipalities in Los Angeles County to manage over 100 nutrition sites that provide well balanced nutritional meals that meet USDA guidelines.
