Commendation to Bill Heagy in recognition of his service as a member of the Civil Service Commission.

COMMENDATION
WILLIAM “BILL” J. HEAGY
WHEREAS, William “Bill” J. Heagy is a former Human Resource Executive retired from a Fortune 500 Corporation;
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Heagy has been a Culver City resident for more than seven (7) years, is now relocating to Washington
State; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Heagy served as President of the Culver City Friends of the Library and Executive Board Member of the
Culver City Democratic Club; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Heagy was appointed to the Civil Service Commission in July 2001; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure on the Civil Service Commission as Commissioner and Chair, Mr. Heagy was actively
involved in the review of the Civil Services Rules, and devoted countless hours to monthly meetings and hearings; and
WHEREAS, he has faithfully served the City Council, the Civil Service Commission , and the employees and citizens of
the City of Culver City; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Culver City hereby
commends William J. Heagy for his dedicated service and commitment to his appointment, and wishes him well in all of his future
endeavors.
