Fulwood (03/05/08) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council receive and file this report on actions taken to implement the City Council s direction regarding the Culver City Skate Park regulations and supervision and direct staff as deemed appropriate. BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION: At the November 19 2007 City Council meeting the Council directed staff to take a number of measures with regard to the Skate Park Regulations and supervision. The staff report from that meeting Agenda Item A 2 is provided as Attachment 1. As excerpt of the minutes of the November 19 2007 meeting detailing Council s direction to staff is provided as Attachment 2. To date the following actions have been taken to comply with Council s direction as cited above: 1. The Culver City Skate Park remains unsupervised 2. The Skate Park has remained locked when the Park is closed (from dusk until dawn) 3. The CCPD reports that officers patrol the area on a daily basis.
