Chief Financial Officer Approval: N/A City Attorney Approval: N/A City Manager Approval: N/A RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Parks Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) Commission review 2010 schedule of Commission meetings. BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION: It is customary for the Parks Recreation and Community Services Commission to set the meeting schedule for the next calendar year at its July meeting and to review that schedule once again during the first meeting of the New Year. At the July 7 2009 Parks and Recreation Commission meeting after considering scheduling conflicts due to legal or religious holidays and/or the unavailability of the Council Chambers the Commission approved the following list of scheduled meetings for 2010: The schedule below reflects the few conflicts on the first Tuesday of the month with legal or religious holidays as well as election days that would affect the Commission s regular schedule of meetings. Tuesday April 6th and Tuesday Nov. 2nd are election days. Independence Day falls on Sunday July 4th is observed on Monday July 5th meaning the City Council will most likely meet on Tuesday July 6th which would ordinarily be a Commission Day meeting. Labor Day falls on Sept. 6th resulting in the City Council meeting on Tuesday...
