DISCUSSION: The first budget study session of the Fiscal Years 2009 10 and 2010 11 Proposed Budget occurred on May 26 2009. The Chief Financial Officer gave a presentation to City Council which included a discussion of current economic conditions insight into how government finances work and provided financial highlights for the Proposed Budget. On June 1 2009 the General Government Departments gave presentations which included the City Council proposed budget City Manager s Office City Clerk Department Finance Department Human Resources Department Information Technology Department and City Attorney s Department. Presentations given this evening will be from the Police Department Fire Department and Transportation Department.
