RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council ratify the approval of Consent Calendar Items C-1 through C-9 and Action Item A-1 on the July 27, 2026 City Council Agenda (Attachment 1).
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
At the July 27, 2026 City Council Meeting, there was a technology disruption that occurred during the City Council's consideration and action on the Consent Calendar and Action Item A-1. The technology disruption consisted of a disruption in service preventing persons in the Council Chambers from hearing staff or members of the public who were attending the meeting online through Zoom. There were no speakers logged into Zoom for any of the Consent Calendar items or for Action Item A-1. After the conclusion of Action Item A-1, and pursuant to the Brown Act and City Council Policy No. 3007 (Brown Act Meeting Technology Disruption Policy), the City Clerk announced the disruption and called for a recess to work with the City's Information Technology Department and audio visual team to begin efforts to diagnose and restore the disrupted service. After a short recess and the Zoom audio was restored in the Chambers, the City Council resumed the meeting and completed the remaining items on the agenda.
