BACKGROUND: During the May 12 2014 City Council meeting the City Council directed the City Manager to place this discussion on an upcoming agenda. Staff has provided public notification regarding this subject in accordance with the public notification noted above. DISCUSSION: California Government Code Section 54950 the Ralph M. Brown Act (Act) includes a requirement for a Legislative Body (as defined in the Act) to post an agenda for its meetings and also sets forth general requirements of the contents of the agenda Section 54954.2(a)(1) and (2) .
