RECOMMENDATION
The Subcommittee will receive and discuss a presentation by the Better Food Foundation made together with their partners the Plant Based Treaty and Center for Biological Diversity. The presentation will focus on meeting Culver City's GHG Reduction Goals through plant-based food policy and advancing the goals of the Plant-Based Treaty.
BACKGROUND/DESCRIPTION
The Better Food Foundation is a non-profit organization working to accelerate the shift to more sustainable and compassionate food systems by advancing plant-based food solutions while reshaping cultural narratives that influence food choices. Using behavioral science, the Better Food Foundation is building a strong, collaborative movement to educate, influence, and scale solutions that make sustainable choices easier and possible for people, animals, and the planet.
