Howe Safe Routes to School Project (PZ941) in the amount of $447 480 with a City matching contribution of $49 720 and $30 280 in design costs. The purpose of the grant is to create safer routes for walking and biking to and from school by using nationally proven physical improvements to address common safety concerns for pedestrians bicyclists and RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council (1) approve the final plans and specifications and (2) authorize the publication of a notice inviting bids for the Linwood E. Howe Safe Routes to School Project PZ941.
