RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council (1) award $1,000 off-cycle special events grant and designate The Compass Group USA's Summer Movie Vacation, which will take place on Saturdays between May 27, 2023, and July 29, 2023, as a City-Sponsored Event, as recommended by the Special Events Grant Program City Council Ad Hoc Subcommittee; and (2) authorize the City Manager to administratively approve applicable City permits and licenses needed to conduct the event (such authority shall not apply to a special event permit, if needed, which shall continue to be issued in the usual course of business).
