Fulwood (05/23/07) Attachments: _ RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council approve an amendment to the professional services agreement with Nickerson Company to support the Public Works Department for general public works inspection for an additional not to exceed amount of $40 000 with the amended agreement expiring on October 31 2007. BACKGROUND: On October 10 2005 the City Council approved professional services agreements with Project Partners Berryman and Henigar and Nickerson Company for public works inspection services for a total aggregate not to exceed cost of $65 000. These agreements originally expired on June 30 2006. The purpose of the agreements was to alleviate the workload of the Public Works Inspector due to the Symantec development and several large utility projects. On May 22 2006 the City Council approved amending the existing agreements with Project Partners Berryman and Henigar and Nickerson Company for a total aggregate not to exceed cost of $65 000 with the amended agreements to expire on June 30 2007.
