RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council discuss the process of providing the City’s
comments on Environmental Impact Reports.
DISCUSSION:
From time to time, the City is provided with an opportunity to comment on
Environmental Impact Reports prepared for projects that might have impacts on the
City.
Staff would like to discuss with the City Council’s various options available to
determining when City comments are appropriate and desired and what processes
can be used to prepare and submit such comments.
