Resolution No. 2010 R ATTACHMENTS Pages 1 2 RESOLUTION NO. 2010 R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CULVER CITY CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDS FROM THE SOUTH COAST AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT DISTRICT (AQIVID) AND THE MOBILE SOURCE REDUCTION COMMITTEE (MSRC) TO JUNE 30 2011. WHEREAS the City of Culver City situated in the South Coast Region of California is mandated to comply with State and local clean air rules for municipal fleets as administered by the South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD); and; WHEREAS every year AQMD and the Mobile Source Reduction Committee (MSRC) allocate discretionary funds for clean air projects to assist local fleets in meeting these mandates; and WHEREAS the City and the Transportation DepartMent have committed to the use of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as the alternative fuel of choice for our fleet and receives AB2766 Subvention Funds to establish the City's eligibility to participate in Local Government Match Programs offered annually by MSRC; and WHEREAS the City's application for grant funds from AQMD and MSRC is consistent with the City's mission to expand its alternative fuel fleet and reduce harmful emissions in the South Coast region. NOW THEREFORE the City Council of the City of Culver City DOES HEREBY RESOLVE as follows: 1.
