BACKGROUND/ DISCUSSION: Phase I of the project included: a new jogging trail and landscaping; demolition and removal of an existing vacated restroom the softball infield and horseshoe pits; seeding and new turf in the former softball infield; enlarging the existing group picnic area; and the installation of rock climbing play equipment. The final construction cost for Phase I was $154 060. Phase II of the Culver West Alexander Park Rehabilitation Project includes the removal of the obsolete sport lighting fixtures the installation of 14 foot high walkway lights along the jogging path 4 foot high bollard lights in the McConnell pathway and security lights at the recreation building.
