Fulwood (04/17/08) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council adopt the resolution eliminating Sections 2009 and 2010 Article XX Succession and Transition of the Charter of the City of Culver City which are deemed obsolete by the City Attorney pursuant to Section 2011 of the Charter Elimination of Transition Provisions . BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION: Sections 2009 and 2010 of the Charter of the City of Culver City provided transition provisions for the elected City Clerk and City Treasurer to continue to serve in their elected offices until April 8 2008. In accordance with Section 2011 of the Charter the City Attorney has determined that these Sections are obsolete by virtue of the completion of their terms and other acts required under these Sections and is advising the City Council of the same.
