Fulwood (01/07/09) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council discuss the issue of creation of a City Council Subcommittee to discuss the format of the City Council agenda speaker cards and related items and appoint Council Members thereto. BACKGROUND: At a recent City Council meeting the City Council directed that an item to consider re creation of a City Council Subcommittee to discuss the Format of the City Council agenda speaker cards and related items be placed on a future agenda. The City Council also requested the City Manager recommend Councilmembers to serve on said Subcommittee in the case the City Council were to re create it. DISCUSSION: The City Manager reviewed the current list of 46 Subcommittees and found that Councilmembers Armenta and Weissman do not currently serve together on a Subcommittee.
