BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

 

At the August 24, 2023 Mobility, Traffic & Parking Subcommittee meeting, the Committee Members requested a discussion on the potential of a Safe Routes for Seniors program.

 

Public Works Department Staff prioritizes the safety of the most venerable roadway users including pedestrians, cyclists, children, and seniors. These users are considered during development, design, and operations of all Mobility projects.

 

Committee Members will discuss concepts and options with staff and provide direction.
