BACKGROUND On January 30 2012 the City Council approved a construction contract with KASA Construction in the amount of $1 058 948.20 for the construction of the Phase III and Phase IV West Washington Streetscape projects. In addition the City Council authorized the Community Development Director to approve change orders up to an additional $200 000 or 20% of the contract amount for unforeseen conditions or project related issues.
