Call to Order & Roll Call
The meeting of the Agency was called to order at 6:00 p.m.

JOINT ITEM PUBLIC HEARING
Item JPH-1
Public Hearing for Consideration by the City Council of a Tentative Tract
Map, and the Redevelopment Agency of a Project’s Site Plan as it Relates
to the Redevelopment Plan, for the Construction of a 4-Story Mixed-Use
Development (Retail and Residential) at 13365 Washington Boulevard in the
Commercial General (CG) Zone and Redevelopment Project Component
Area No. 4
MOVED BY AGENCY MEMBER GROSS, SECONDED BY AGENCY MEMBER
ROSE, AND UNANIMOUSLY PASSED TO RECEIVE AND FILE THE
AFFADAVIT OF THE POSTING OF THE AGENDA.
Responding to Agency Member Silbiger regarding whether staff had suggested
that residences include affordable housing, Community Development Director
Blumenfeld explained that staff generally had little input to influence the project
other than comporting with zoning ordinances.
Agency Counsel Kane clarified if the Agency adopted a policy to address
affordable housing and the project did not comply it could be required to do so.
Agency Member Silbiger pointed out that without a policy it was difficult to have
affordable housing on a project by project basis.
Mayor Corlin opened the public hearing.

UNANIMOUSLY PASSED TO CLOSE THE PUBLIC HEARING.
MOVED BY CHAIR MALSIN, SECONDED BY AGENCY MEMBER ROSE AND
UNANIMOUSLY PASSED TO APPROVE THE CONSTRUCTION OF A MIXED
USE PROJECT CONSISTING OF 19 RESIDENTIAL UNITS AND A GROUND
FLOOR COMMERCIAL/RETAIL SPACE AT 13365 WASHINGTON
BOULEVARD (SITE PLAN REVIEW, SPR P-2006123) AND DETERMINE THAT
THE PROJECT IS CONSISTENT WITH THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR
COMPONENT AREA NO. 4 OF THE CULVER CITY REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT.
