RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends the City Council approve of a budget amendment in the amount of $382,033 for temporary street closures in Downtown Culver City to support economic recovery related to the COVID-19 Pandemic (budget amendment requires a four-fifths vote); and (2) authorize the City Manager to approve related agreements and/or purchase orders for required equipment.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
On June 9, 2020, the City Council considered a conceptual plan for temporary street closures in Downtown Culver City to mitigate current COVID-19 impacts on local businesses and spur economic recovery.
