Over the past 10 years, Economic Development has implemented informal business visitations throughout the City relative to assistance and retention programming.  The goal of the business visitations is to establish and strengthen business relationships, understand current operation issues/impacts, and assist with expansion efforts where possible.

For Fiscal Year 25/26 staff anticipates increasing the number of visitations to approximately 3-4 per month pursuant to the following industry cluster priorities below:

                     Retail

                     Restaurant

                     Commercial Office/Professional Services

                     Creative/Tech/Other

Size and geographic location will be considered when selecting visitations to reflect a range of businesses throughout the City.

To date, Economic Development has conducted approximately 20+ business visitations and ribbon cuttings this fiscal year including:

                     Ubisoft Games

                     Ellipse Manufacturing

                     Parks Project

                     Technicolor

                     Rewind Aesthetics

                     UCLA Art Studios

                     Acura West LA

                     K & L Wines

                     KBella

                     Nothing Bundt Cakes

Upcoming visitations include Dreamscape Immersive in Culver Pointe, Saiijo Handrolls in West Washington, and Chihuahua Taqueria in Culver Village.

Staff requests input for specific business and/or the Economic Development Subcommittee participation in future visitations.
