Fulwood (06/18/08) RECOMMENDATION: Staff and the Parks and Recreation Commission recommend the City Council authorize staff to submit an application for Proposition 40 Roberti Z Berg Harris (RZH) Block Grant Program funds in the amount of $59 100 for the Bill Botts Field Lighting Project (P 869) and approve a Budget Amendment to authorize the appropriation of $59 100 in RZH funds upon receipt of the fully executed grant agreement. A four fifths vote is necessary to approve a budget amendment. BACKGROUND: On October 13 2003 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2003 R084 approving staff s request to apply for grant funds from the Roberti Z berg Harris Block Grant Program under the California Clean Water Clean Air Safe Neighborhood Parks and Coastal Protection Act Of 2002 (Proposition 40).
