Nachbar (11/03/10) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the City Council: (1) accept the work performed by National Demolition Contractors for the Lindberg Park Hut Demolition Project P 731; (2) authorize filing a Notice of Completion; and (3) authorize the release of the retention funds in the amount of $1 580.00 after the expiration of the 35 day lien period. BACKGROUND: On March 23 2009 the City Council awarded a construction contract to National Demolition Contractors in the amount of $13 800 along with a $2 070 change order authority provided to the Public Works Director/City Engineer.
