BACKGROUND: Mr. John Nachbar City Manager of the City of Culver City was formally introduced to the members of the Parks Recreation and Community Services Commission at the September 7 2010 Commission meeting. At that time a discussion between the Commission and the City Manager took place which included various topics such as the Commission s duties and the Commission and staff and the Commission and the City Council and potential ways to improve such communications. During the course of the meeting the Commission requested that the City Manager meet with the Commission s Council/Commission Subcommittee and invited him to come back before the full Commission for further discussion.
