BACKGROUND A routine part of the recruitment preparation process is the review of the current classification specification to determine whether it still meets the needs of the department and reflects the knowledge skills and ability needed for the job. This review was conducted jointly by Human Resources staff with assistance from the Enforcement Services Manager and the Community Development Director. As a result a revised Code Enforcement Analyst classification specification (Attachment 1) is attached for your approval. The revised classification specification has been reviewed by the Culver City Employees Association (CCEA) and approved by the Civil Service Commission at their April 1 2009 meeting. A copy of the draft minutes from that meeting is attached for the Council s information. DISCUSSION As part of the routine review revisions have been made throughout the classification specification for clarity and to reflect current terminology.
