RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council receive and file the Biannual Written Reports submitted by the Commissions, Boards, and Committees (CBCs).
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Per City Council Policy Number 3002, most recently updated in October 2023, "[p]eriodically but no less than biannually, each CBC shall submit to City Council a written report on their respective activities."
The first biannual reporting included accomplishments from 2021 and plans for the first half of calendar year 2022, and the second transmittal included accomplishments from January through June 2022 and plans for the second half of calendar year 2022. The third through eighth reports followed the same format, each providing accomplishments and plans for each of their respective years. This is the ninth transmittal and includes accomplishments from July through December 2025 and plans for the first half of calendar year 2026.
For ease of review and standardization, the City Clerk's Office has gathered and compiled the written reports into one agenda item. Biannual CBC written reports were compiled by staff and discussed by the members of each respective CBC body.
