Chief Financial Officer Approval: N/A City Manager Approval: N/A City Attorney Approval: N/A RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Parks Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) Commission hear a report from the Recreational Activities and Special Projects (RA&SP) Subcommittee discuss the review of Dog Park Ordinances and receive and file the report. BACKGROUND: The Parks Recreation and Community Services Commission has determined that the scope of responsibility of the Recreational Activities and Special Projects (RA&SP) Subcommittee is as follows: Support and advise on matters concerning any and all recreational activities and the facilities that support them including but not limited to the Dog Park the Skate Park and the Plunge. DISCUSSION: The Recreational Activities and Special Projects Subcommittee is currently involved in reviewing the existing Culver City Municipal Code (CCMC) Dog Park Ordinances specifically 9.10.400 RULES AND REGULATIONS and 9.10.405 PENALTIES to identify areas that may be in need of revision.
