BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION: The City Council approved the award of a construction contract to KDC Inc. (DBA Dynalectric) on November 26 2007 for an amount not to exceed $602 420. Subsequently staff discovered a mathematical error in the addition of the bid items shown in Attachment B. Instead of $602 420 the total bid submitted by Dynalectric was $676 900.
