RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council (1) waive competitive bidding procedures pursuant to Culver City Municipal Code (CCMC) Section 3.07.075.F.3; (2) approve an amendment to an existing agreement with the UCLA Center for Prehospital Care in an amount not-to-exceed $821,551 ($468,714 for years one through three and $352,837 for two one-year extension options), for the provision of paramedic continuing education, quality improvement activities, and other related paramedic program support; and (3) approve a related budget amendment appropriating $5,364 from the General Fund Unassigned Balance (requires four-fifths vote).
