CITY OF CULVER CITY, CALIFORNIA,
DESIGNATNG THE CITY MANAGER, DIRECTOR
OF PUBLIC WORKS/CITY ENGINEER, AND CHIEF
FINANCIAL OFFICER AS THE CITY'S
AUTHORIZED AGENTS FOR OBTAINING
CERTAIN FEDERAL ASSISTANCE UNDER P.L.,
93-288 AS AMENDED BY THE ROBERT T.
STAFFORD DISASTER RELIEF AND EMERGENCY
ASSISTANCE ACT OF 1988 AND/OR STATE
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER THE
CALIFORNIA DISASTER ASSISTANCE ACT.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Culver City, DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE as follows:
1. That the City Manager, or Director of Public Works/City Engineer, or
Chief Financial Officer of the City, is hereby authorized to execute for and on behalf of the
City of Culver City, a public entity established under the laws of the State of California, this
application and to file it in the Office of Emergency Services for the purpose of obtaining
certain federal financial assistance under P.L. 93-288 as amended by the Robert T.
Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act of 1988, and/or state financial
assistance under the California Disaster Assistance Act.
2_ That the City of Culver City, a public entity established under the laws
of the State of California, hereby authorizes it agent(s) to provide to the State Office of|101010101010101010 10

Staff recommends the City Council adopt a resolution designating the City
Manager, Director of Public Works/City Engineer, and Chief Financial Officer as
the City’s authorized agents for obtaining certain federal assistance under P.L., 93-
288 as amended by the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency
Assistance Act of 1988 and/or state financial assistance under the California
Disaster Assistance Act.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
The proposed resolution replaces an existing resolution which has become
obsolete. This new resolution will update the list of authorized agents.
