Clarke, Board Member Micheál O’Leary, Board Member Meghan Sahli-Wells, Board Member Absent: Jeffrey Cooper, Vice Chair * o0o Closed Session * Vice Chair Cooper participated in the Closed Session portion of the meeting via teleconference from the Georgian Terrace Hotel, 659 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30308. At 5:30 p.m., the Successor Agency recessed to Closed Session to discuss the following items: CS-1 Conference with Legal Counsel – Anticipated Litigation Re: Initiation of Litigation – One Case Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(c) CS-2 Conference with Legal Counsel – Anticipated Litigation Re: Significant Exposure to Litigation – One Case Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(c) January 14, 2013 2 CS-3 Conference with Real Property Negotiators Re: 12337 to 12423 Washington Boulevard, 4061 to 4069 Centinela Avenue and 4064 Colonial Avenue Successor Agency Negotiators: John M. Nachbar, Executive Director; Sol Blumenfeld, Assistant Executive Director; Todd Tipton, Economic Development Administrator; and Murray Kane, Successor Agency General Special Counsel Other Parties Negotiators: Regency Centers Acquisition, LLC Under Negotiation: Both Price and Terms Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8 o0o Reconvene Mayor Weissman reconvened the meeting at 7:14 p.m. with four Members present (absent Vice Chair Cooper). o0o Report on Action Taken in Closed Session Chair Weissman indicated there was nothing to report from closed session. o0o Invocation/Pledge of Allegiance The Invocation was given by John Nachbar, Executive Director, and the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Marla Wolkowitz and Barbara Honig. o0o Community Announcements by Board Members/Information Items from Staff None. o0o Joint Public Comment for Items NOT On the Agenda None. January 14, 2013 3 o0o Receipt and Filing of Correspondence None. o0o Joint Consent Calendar Item JC-1 JOINT CITY COUNCIL, HOUSING AUTHORITY AND SUCCESSOR AGENCY AGENDA ITEM: Cash Disbursements MOVED BY BOARD MEMBER CLARKE AND SECONDED BY BOARD MEMBER SAHLI-WELLS THAT THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY APPROVE CASH DISBURSEMENTS FOR DECEMBER 1, 2012 – JANUARY 4, 2013. THE MOTION CARRIED BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: AYES: CLARKE, O’LEARY, SAHLI-WELLS, WEISSMAN NOES: NONE ABSENT: COOPER o0o Consent Calendar Item C-1 Meeting Minutes Martin Cole, Assistant City Manager/Secretary, noted that Councilmember Clarke had pointed out two items in the minutes that required updating and he requested that the minutes be approved as amended. MOVED BY BOARD MEMBER CLARKE AND SECONDED BY BOARD MEMBER SAHLI-WELLS THAT THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY APPROVE MINUTES FOR THE REGULAR MEETING OF DECEMBER 10, 2012 AS AMENDED.
