City of Culver City, California City Council Agenda Item Report RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council and the Culver City Redevelopment Agency authorize an extension of the existing Amendment to the Agreement up to six- months with Imagery Video Productions in an amount not to exceed $15,000 to continue providing broadcasting and videotaping services for City Council, Redevelopment Agency, City Commissions and special meetings. Of that amount a maximum each of $12,000 would be paid from the General Fund and $3,000 would be paid by the Agency. BACKGROUND/ DISCUSSION: On October 10, 2005, the City Council authorized an extension to the existing Amendment to the Agreement among the City, the Redevelopment Agency, and Imagery Video Productions to extend the term of the Agreement at the same hourly rate. Staff has been satisfied with the quality of services that have been provided throughout the year and recommends that the services continue until which time the Council Chamber audio system project is completed. The same terms and conditions of the previous contract are agreeable both to Mr. Doug Nielsen of Imagery Video Productions and the City Manager’s Office staff. FISCAL ANALYSIS: There is adequate funding for the extension of the Agreement in FY 2006-07 for account numbers 10110000.619000 and 59190400.619800.
