RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS)
Commissionreceive and file the report regarding Senior Center Programming and
the Senior Nutrition Program from the Senior & Social Services/Facilities Division of
the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department.
BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION:
The PRCS Director has scheduled periodic reports to the Commission from each of
the Department’s various Divisions and/or Program areas. These reports are
typically presented as a slide show (Attachment) with a question-and-answer period.
This evening’s report will be presented by Senior & Social Services/Facilities
Manager Armando Abrego and members of his staff.
FISCAL ANALYSIS:There is no fiscal impact associated with this discussion.
