City of Culver City, California Agenda Item Report RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council, Successor Agency Board, Housing Authority Board, and Parking Authority Board: (1) receive the City Manager’s/Executive Director’s Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2015/2016 (Proposed Budget) for the City, the Successor Agency, the Housing Authority and the Parking Authority, and an accompanying brief presentation from staff; and (2) receive a presentation of the Police Department’s budget proposals for Fiscal Year 2015/2016. BACKGROUND / DISCUSSION: The City Council and Boards for the Successor Agency, Housing Authority and Parking Authority will be provided with the Proposed Budget document. The City Manager/Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer will give a presentation and provide financial highlights for the Proposed Budget. Budget presentation dates of the various Departments (except Police Department) are scheduled for: Monday, May 18, 2015 at 4:00 PM Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 4:00 PM Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 4:00 PM (if needed) Directly following the presentation of the Chief Financial Officer this evening, the Chief of Police will be presenting the Police Department budget presentation.
